That is correct. I will be traveling to Illinois and I will be on site at the hotel where the pageant is taking place. So please don’t get confused when you see your confirmation text/email and it says located in Wisconsin. That is where my business is located but I will be traveling to you.

I travel with all my equipment and supplies . I am set up in a hotel room and will spray you in there.  It will  be myself, you, and anyone you would like to have in the hotel room during your service.

Once I arrive to the hotel the week of the pageant and find out the room number in which I will have, at that time, you will receive a text message from me informing you of the room # in which you will come to for your tan.

Make sure to click the ‘Book Now’ link on this page. This is where you will schedule your tan. You will pick the day and time that works for you. I understand you will not know that far in advance when you’re having hair&makeup, so please simply text me if you realize your tan overlaps and you need to change your appointment time.

~For those who wish to pay in full, choose option 1.

~For those who wish to pay the $50 deposit now, choose option 2. Keep in mind, the remaining $40 balance will be automatically be withdrawn on July 1st from the same card used to make the initial deposit.

• Add selected item, go to cart and pick date of either July 8th, 9th, or 10th, then choose time for your appointment.

• Pay and make sure your recieved a confirmation text/email. 

It's that easy!

The afternoon of July 8th, I will be arriving at the hotel. Once I check in and find out my room #, I will inform you via text what room # you will arrive at for your tan.

Ideally, arrive wearing something that you can easily and quickly undress from as I will likely be tanning each of you directly after one another.

And as to what to wear during your tan? Truly wear what you feel comfortable in! Most will go nude. No one want’s tan lines. But some will wear panties and/or pasties/bra. Again, this is your tan. I want you to be happy with the result and feel comfortable.

And because we are all women, I am going to state the obvious question, let’s address the elephant in the room…. “what if I have my period but don’t want tan lines?”  Here’s the answer, if you feel comfortable, go nude. I could care less if there is a tampon string out… We’ve all been there :)

At the end of the day, I want you to know you are in a safe and judgement free zone when tanning.

Please do not let yourself stress or over think on these instructions. If you aren't able to follow these instructions perfectly, it will be OKAY. Your tan will turn out. Just do the best you can. Let me know if you have specific questions.

The brand I use is called SunnaTan. All of my clients love it! And when I say all, I mean ALL! I primarily use an express solution meaning you rinse it off within the first 3-5 hours after it's been applied. (So keep this in mind on the time you scheduled your tan.) For most, it’s okay to be left on longer.

Take note, if you are someone who uses self tanner often or spray tans often, sleeping with the express solution overnight will be okay to do. But if your skin is extremely fair or you prefer to have a more subtle tan, then I would recommend rinsing  3-5 hours after application. 

Second to note, this solution will take a FULL 18-24 hours to FULLY develop. As the day proceeds, you will see the tan begin to set in. But keep this in mind when  you are scheduling your tan.

The biggest difference is the initial appearance after application. Clear goes on clear meaning you leave looking exactly the same as you did when you arrived. Tinted goes on with a tint and you will definitely notice rub off on your clothing.  Regardless of either one, the end result of your tan is the same. Each is rinsed off at the same time and post tan instructions remain the same.  Clear is the most popular due to less rub off on clothing, dryer of a feel on the skin, and easier to proceed with your day after application. Unless you otherwise specify, plan for the clear as it is my, Nichole’s, personal favorite!

This information is important to note after you receive your tan. But it is here for you to refer back to afterwards.

Have you ever noticed someone’s hands looking orange after a spray tan? I don’t want that for you. So here is the MOST IMPORTANT piece of information I have so your tan turns out flawless! Because as your spray tan artist, I can do everything perfectly in applying this for you. But once you leave, the after care you provide to your hands is all on you! 

Step 1: 30-60 min post tan, wash hands. Avoid over splashing on arms. Only allow water on hands. And nowhere else.

Step 2: pat dry hands

Step 3: lotion hands. Not arms, only hands and inside of wrists. The more hydrated you keep your hands, the better outcome. 

Step 4: take dry towel and wipe palms firmly to remove tanning solution that was spread while applying lotion

Step 5: Repeat 2 more times prior to first rinse

This is SO IMPORTANT in order to avoid orange, over saturated hands. Please let me know if you have further questions the day of your tan.

As a thank you for entrusting Nichole with your tan, ONE FREE touch up is offered if needed. Chances are, you likely won’t need it, but it's always a relief knowing you have a good “insurance policy” with your glam, am I right!? 

If a touch up is needed, touch ups must be completed no later than Thursday afternoon BEFORE the start of the Sparkle Party. Typically touch ups take less than 5 minutes.

Remember, a touch up can be no larger than the size of one limb i.e. hand&arm OR leg&foot OR abdomen OR face etc.

If touch up EXCEEDS one area, additional fee may apply, fee starts at $15 & up.

This is a question I get often. Everyone is genuinely pleasantly surprised by the set up when they walk into the  hotel room.  Here is a photo so you can better understand what to expect. The bathroom is set up with a fan so you have an area to dry if needed. The stand up tent is where you will stand during the tanning application. It’s a nice and clean set up. Hopefully, this helps you know better what to expect if you're feeling unsure.

As a reminder, the day you arrive for your appointment, if the hotel room door is closed, this means I am in with the individual schedule prior to you. Please wait patiently in the hall outside of the room until your time.
